In a universe where humans are near the bottom of the evolutionary ladder, a young destitute human woman is targeted for assassination by the Queen of the Universe because her very existence threatens to end the Queen's reign.




Enlisting Channing Tatum, Mila Kunis, Douglas Booth and Sean Bean for the main roles, ‘Jupiter Ascending’ is set in a universe where humans are near the bottom of the evolutionary ladder yet a young woman’s existence threatens to end the Queen of the Universe’s reign. Taking the lead will be Mila Kunis as Jupiter Jones, whose 9-to-5 job of cleaning toilets is interrupted abruptly when Caine (Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, is ordered to kill her to stop her form discovering her true destiny. All sounds very epic doesn’t it… well, what else would you expect from the Wachowski duo who has spun of hits such ‘The Matrix‘ franchise, ‘V for Vendetta’ and family film ‘Speed Racer




There is no denying that this is set to be a whole lot of fun and a visual feast for the eyes, with themes of alien invaders, royal prophecies, space action and genetic mutations. Of course, we can expect the Wachowski Brothers to be working on a groundbreaking visual twist on what they will give us, similar to those that featured in ‘The Matrix’ back in 1999. Let’s see what they’ve got up their sleeve for us when it is finally released in 2014.
